Privacy Policy
VyBoost takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data is collected, why, and how it is protected, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data collected
When you create an account and place an order, VyBoost collects the following data:
- Email address and password (encrypted), to create and manage your account
- Order history (service, quantity, price, link or username provided, status)
- Payment data processed directly by our provider Stripe, VyBoost never has access to or stores your full banking details
- Messages sent via the contact form (name, email, message content)
VyBoost never asks for or collects your social media login credentials.
Purposes of processing
Your data is used to:
- Create and manage your customer account
- Process, execute and track your orders
- Contact you if needed regarding an order
- Respond to requests submitted via the contact form
- Comply with our legal and accounting obligations
Data recipients
Your data is processed by VyBoost and shared only with providers necessary to deliver the service:
- Stripe, for secure payment processing
- Resend, for sending transactional emails (order confirmations, etc.)
- Our host Vercel, for the technical hosting of the site and database
- Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Google Ads, only if you have accepted audience-measurement and advertising cookies (see the dedicated section below)
These providers only use your data for purposes strictly necessary to their role, and are themselves bound by confidentiality obligations.
Retention period
Your data is kept for as long as necessary to manage your account and orders, and for the periods required by our legal and accounting obligations (in particular for invoicing).
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data. You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting us via the contact form or by email at contact@vyboost.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), cnil.fr.
Security
VyBoost implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or disclosure, including password encryption and secure (HTTPS) connections.
Cookies
The site only uses technical cookies strictly necessary for its operation (maintaining your login session). Under applicable regulations, these cookies do not require prior consent, as they are essential to the operation of the service requested by the user.
Visit statistics
VyBoost collects anonymous visit statistics (page viewed, device type, country, language, referring page) to understand and improve site usage. This does not rely on any tracking cookie or identifier that would let us recognize you across visits, and no personal data is attached to these statistics. It works independently of your choice on the consent banner below.
Audience-measurement and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads)
Only with your consent, the site uses Google Analytics (GA4), Microsoft Clarity and the Google Ads tag to measure site traffic, understand how it's used, and evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (for example, knowing that a visit from an ad led to an order). This measurement relies on cookies set by Google and Microsoft. Until you give your consent, these cookies stay blocked: the site informs Google via Consent Mode, which limits measurement to an anonymous, aggregated estimate, with no cookie or individual identifier.
These tools never receive your name, email, or social media profile link — only technical information about the visit (page viewed, device, referrer) and, on a purchase, the order's amount and content with no data that could personally identify you.
Retention periods for the cookies these tools set (each tool's documented default):
- Google Analytics (GA4): up to 2 years
- Microsoft Clarity: up to 1 year
- Google Ads: up to 90 days
A banner lets you accept, decline, or customize these cookies on your first visit. Your choice is remembered on your device for 6 months, after which you'll be asked again. You can change it at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" at the bottom of any page.
